A visit to Delamar

Recently I visited the DELAMAR Greenwich Harbor – a great destination spot, drivable from both New York and Boston.

They describe the property as Mediterranean-style luxury where New York meets New England which couldn’t be more accurate.

DELAMAR Greenwich Harbor is a luxury escape. I love that it truly feels boutique and intimate- it is an 82-room property. The waterfront boutique hotel offers Mediterranean-style luxury with its wrought iron balconies, tiled roof, pastel stucco walls, and private dock. It’s truly stunning.

The things I love about the property are its water views, the full-service spa, the beautiful restaurant, and its proximity to the ultra-posh Greenwich Avenue.

Upon check-in guests are greeted at check-in with a glass of bubbly, what a nice little perk.

Fine dining by l’escale restaurant, offered marina views with 500’ of private dockage, as did our room.

Let’s be honest, I was here for the spa. 😉 DELAMAR Greenwich Harbor features a full-service spa offering cutting-edge face and body treatments.

Located on the hotel’s second floor, DELAMAR’s full-service spa offers three treatment rooms (including two couples’ treatment rooms) in which to enjoy an extensive selection of massages therapies, facials and body treatments. Guests can also enjoy a full-service nail salon by Beautiful Nails. Spa therapists are leaders in their field and their treatments incorporate the exclusive, renowned Valmont and Biologique Recherche (BR) products. Spa at Delamar in Greenwich Harbor was awarded “Best Day Spa” by CT Magazine in 2014 and 2015.

Other pluses… pets are welcome, and bike rentals are complimentary, as is the continental breakfast in the lobby. Complimentary hotel services include continental breakfast in the lobby, welcome glass of bubbly upon arrival, courtesy transportation in a Tesla within a three mile radius, property-wide WI-FI, valet parking and self-parking, electric vehicle charging station, fitness center with Peloton bikes, bicycle rental, and 24-hour concierge services.

Steps from the Metro North station, DELAMAR is conveniently located within walking distance to Greenwich Avenue’s boutique shopping, the “East Coast’s Rodeo Drive.” Greenwich, Connecticut is home to many historically rich attractions that await DELAMAR guests.
