Miami has evolved far beyond its reputation for nightlife and beach clubs. On this trip, I discovered a different side of the city—one centered around wellness, beauty, exceptional dining, and intentional luxury.
From hydrotherapy rituals at the Carillon to to skin rejuvenation with one of Miami Beach”s most sought-after aestheticians, dinners under twinkling lights at Casa Tua, and afternoons wandering botanical gardens, this was less of a vacation and more of a reset.
My Home Base: Carillon Miami Wellness Resort
The centerpiece of my stay was the wellness experience at Carillon Miami Wellness Resort.
The thermal hydrotherapy circuit became my daily ritual. Steam rooms, experiential showers, thermal loungers, vitality pools, and ocean views create the feeling of being transported to a European wellness retreat. The resort is built around the philosophy that wellness should be integrated into every aspect of the guest experience.
What I love about Carillon is they are truly full-service. With a medical team on staff, they can analyze your blodd and hormones, and offer IVs and peptides. Then there are the unique experiences like the the full body lymphatic compression, sleep and meditation pods and more. As someone who has tarveled to some of the best wellness resorts in the country, Carillon had the most exapnisve offering I have ever seen.
The Spa Experience Everyone Should Book: iGodFace
One of the most memorable wellness experiences of the trip was my appointment at iGodFace.
With sweeping intercoastalviews, iGodFace was created by esthetician Sasha White and focuses on facial sculpting, lymphatic drainage, advanced skincare techniques, and a uniquely immersive wellness experience that incorporates sound healing. The treatment is entirely hands-on and designed to create a visibly lifted, sculpted appearance while encouraging relaxation and circulation.
What I loved most was that it felt restorative rather than clinical. It wasn’t a facial; it was an experience.
For anyone interested in facial sculpting, lymphatic drainage, or natural rejuvenation techniques, this was one of the standout treatments of my entire trip. My face looked so sculpted after, I swear Sasha took 20 years off my face.
A Miami Beauty Insider Secret: Skincare by Amy Peterson
Another highlight was my visit to Skincare by Amy Peterson.
Amy Peterson is known throughout Miami as “The Skin Savant,” with a reputation built on customized, results-focused treatments and advanced skincare technologies. Her Miami Beach studio combines medical aesthetics with a highly personalized approach, creating treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific skin concerns.
Rather than offering cookie-cutter services, Amy’s philosophy centers on individualized treatment protocols, combining technologies and modalities to achieve meaningful results. The practice has developed a devoted following among beauty insiders and skincare enthusiasts alike. If you are a influencer or celebrity in Miami Beach, Amy is your go-to. Lucky for us, she also sees everyday people (like me) too.

As someone who spends a lot of time researching beauty and wellness, I understood immediately why she has become such a sought-after name in Miami skincare.
Standout Restaurants
Dinner at Casa Tua
Few restaurants feel as magical as Casa Tua.
Hidden behind a Mediterranean-style villa, the restaurant feels like a private dinner party at the home of a very stylish Italian friend. Twinkling lights, lush gardens, impeccable service, and incredible food make it one of Miami’s most memorable dining experiences.
This was easily one of my favorite meals of the trip.
Prime 112: A Classic Miami Beach Night
No Miami itinerary feels complete without dinner at Prime 112.
Located in South of Fifth, Prime 112 remains one of the city’s most iconic dining destinations. The atmosphere is lively, glamorous, and quintessentially Miami.
If Casa Tua is romantic and intimate, Prime 112 is pure Miami energy.
Exploring Miami’s Cuban Heritage
Some of my favorite meals weren’t at Miami Beach hotspots at all. I was lucky to have some guides who directed me to all the local cultural spots.
Whether stopping for cafecito, fresh Cuban pastries, croquetas, or traditional family-owned restaurants, experiencing Miami’s Cuban culture is essential.
The food tells the story of the city in a way no luxury hotel ever could.
An Afternoon at Faena

Even if you’re not staying there, Faena Hotel Miami Beach deserves a visit.
The design is theatrical, glamorous, and unapologetically extravagant. Every corner feels curated. Rich reds, gold accents, artwork, and oceanfront luxury combine to create one of the most visually striking hotels in Miami.
It’s impossible not to stay and wander a while at all of the little nooks at this hotel.
Nobu Miami Beach
A stop at Nobu Hotel Miami Beach offered a completely different aesthetic.
Where Faena is dramatic and bold, Nobu is restrained, serene, and understated. The Japanese-inspired design feels calming from the moment you arrive.
For design lovers, it’s worth visiting both properties because they showcase completely different interpretations of luxury.
A piece of nature: Miami Beach Botanical Garden
One of the most peaceful mornings of the trip was spent at Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
The tropical landscaping, orchids, palms, water features, and quiet pathways provide a welcome contrast to the energy of South Beach.
It’s a reminder that Miami’s beauty isn’t limited to the ocean.
Why I’m already planning my return
This Miami Beach itinerary was built around a nervous system reset.
Between the hydrotherapy circuit and cutting edge spa technology at Carillon, dvanced skincare treatments with Amy Peterson, world-class dining, beautiful hotels, and restorative moments in nature, Miami deliveredon true wellness.
For women navigating midlife, reinvention, or simply a busy season of life, Miami offers far more than nightlife and beaches.
It offers an opportunity to reset.
